Why I love progress pictures –

No matter what the scale or your measurements say, you can SEE the changes you are making 👏🏼🔥

This week I’ve been seeing the scale go up and my measurements were up too (besides my thighs, which were done and they’ve been my most stubborn – so that’s a WINNNN 🥳).

Honestly, it’s a mix of PMS, stress, and my body adjusting to phase 2 of 80 Day Obsession.

Regardless of the reasons though, it’s so easy to let this numbers get in your head. I know I had those initial “WTF” moments.

But when you take a step back and look at the big picture you realize you’re probably making progress in other areas which are just as amazing (if not MORE).

Maybe you can lift more, have increased flexibility or endurance.

Maybe you can get down on the floor easier to play with your kids or run around with them without getting winded.

Maybe your FAVORITE jeans fit better than they have in a long time.

There is so much more progress to measure with than just the scale / measuring tape ❤️

Sure they are helpful tools, and ones I will continue to use, but don’t let them be your be all end all

And, momma, take that before picture 😉
