Candied Carrots

Description: These candied carrots are perfect for getting the picky eaters in your life to eat their veggies! They also make a great side for Christmas / Thanksgiving dinner.

  • 2lb Carrots, peeled and sliced into 4-6in pieces
  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 2 tbsp Brown Sugar
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Cinnamon


  • Place Carrots into a steamer + steam for 10-12 minutes, until fork tender
  • While carrots cook, preheat oven to 400
  • Mix together Olive Oil, Brown Sugar, Salt, and Cinnamon in a small bowl to create a paste
  • Let the carrots cool, enough to be handled safely. Then, place them on an aluminum foil lined baking sheet
  • Rub the brown sugar paste all over carrots
  • Bake for 7 minutes
