Meal prep doesn’t have to suck! Here are some tips to keep it simple, so you have more time to enjoy your life <3.

#1 Cook it Once, Eat it Twice
This is probably my biggest tip because it will save you the most time down the road! I like to think of it as helping out our future selves.
I like to prep big batches of chili, oatmeal bakes, or just extra proteins/freezer friendly veggies. Then, I’ll freeze what I won’t eat within a few days. That way, you have healthy meals on hand when life gets crazy and you might not have time to cook!

#2 Prep Foods that are Easy to Freeze, Reheat, and Enjoy
I swear by freezing foods! Mostly because I tend to forget about things and then end up throwing them away if they are in the fridge (#mombrain).
I will pretty much freeze anything I cook (except lettuce). Then, I reheat what I can in the airy fryer so it stays nice and crisp + tasty.
Some foods that are freezer friendly are: banana and egg pancakes, chaffles, egg bites, oatmeal bakes, any protein (chicken, steak, tuna patty, salmon, etc.), carrot fries, sweet potatoes, etc.

#3 Buy Pre-prepped Veggies
If you’re short on time or energy, this is KEY!
Buying pre-chopped, riced, frozen, or spiralized foods will help cut down on food prep time so you can get straight to cooking. It might be a little more expensive, but you will make up for it in time saved.
Plus, I personally believe cauliflower rice tastes WAY better pre-riced, vs. when I try to make it at home lol.
